Sarah "Sally" K. (King) Potris, 97, of Pawtucket, RI passed away on March 4, 2025. Born in Carna, County Galway, Ireland to Edward and Margaret King.

Sally embraced life with grace and compassion. She was a proud and supportive military wife, providing unwavering strength and resilience through the many moves and challenges that came with service to our country.

After her husband's retirement from the U.S. Army, the family planted its roots in Pawtucket, RI, where Sally opened a business, King’s Answering service, a business she established within her home. Sally was also a Western Union agent, juggling both businesses.

She leaves behind her children, Margaret, Joseph, Edward and Colleen. Granddaughter Colleen Marques and husband Tony, Grandson Adam Potris and wife Pamela, Great granddaughter, Riley Marques and Great Grand Son Samuel Potris. She is predeceased by her husband PSGT John F. Potris (ret. ARMY), son SSGT James E. Potris (ret. ARMY) and daughter, Maureen Gardiner, siblings Jim, Beartla, Edward, Padraig, Joseph King and her sisters, Margaret Mullin, Nora O'Neill and Maura Reaney.

Sally also leaves behind her beloved Boston Red Sox. Her legacy of love and strength will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 5pm-7pm at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. Her funeral will be Friday, March 14, 2025, at St. Teresa of the Child Jesus, 358 Newport Ave. Pawtucket, RI at 10:30am. Please meet directly at church. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
